Beef

All our cattle are free range and naturally reared on our rich pastures during the spring and summer,then housed in open barns in winter,where they are fed on our home grown corn, hay and silage.[ We do not use feed additives">and very importantly ALL our beef is farm assured and 100% traceable. This means we can use the red tractor symbol,which is the sign of top quality British beef.The cattle we rear are various breeds Limousin,Angus ,Blonde aquitaine,Hereford.So our Beef is lean,tender with a great flavour.

In keeping with our own stringent farming practices,the bulk of our lamb is sourced from Brian Godwin at Timothy Rise Farm, Limpley Stoke,Bath.
We also buy lambs from Mrs Russell at Sutton Veny,Warminster, and Jamies Farm, Hillhouse Farm, Box.

All our pork is locally produced and naturally reared to the highest standards.Most by jamie fielden at Jamies Farm,Hillhouse Farm Box .


Chicken

Our free range chickens are reared naturally without the use of growth promoters or additives. A derivative of the Rhode Island Red and the White Cornish Game Birds, they are slow growing breed selected for their free range suitability resulting in a chicken with flavour and texture not found elsewhere.
